Simple dinosaur that grows up. Has loud, annoying sounds and requires A LOT of care. Mildly amusing. Pick it up if you see it for 1$ at a thriftstore, but not more then 2$ max.

Adopt a Neopet (based on the unit you get). Comes with a small figurine you can position in spots(but they do nothing), or use to access the Rapid Mode Entry spots (for those of you too lazy to use the left/right buttons). Has pretty good graphics, but the games are lacking and the pets wake up too early, as well as you'll spend all your NP on food and it's hard to earn back.

A 32-in-1 pet that really isn't worth what you pay, unless it's under 1$, but does have some pets nobody else has used yet, like a dolphin. Just another one of those cheap virtual pets that nobody really wants to admit exsists.

Tamagotchi-like dinosaur. Also has things such as studying, showering, and air conditioner. I've always thought these were neat, but I had trouble keeping them alive.
