This is an area to review and rate virtual pet sites based on several things. I often check back (randomly) to update reviews. New reviews are added whenever I have some free time, which can be hindered by things like schoolwork, lack of interest, writers block, clinging to the safety of pet sites i'm attached to and other stuff :D. Sweet. Once again I forgot about this site. Is that great or what? Well, so much shit going on that I don't feel like explaining and would end up as a horrible livejournal entry. Aside from this site turning in to my personal photobucket and old information archives (one of these pages still says I'm 17, I'm nearly 21 now), I've been looking to actually update stuff. This is amazing concept where I actually take down 3 or 4 year old stuff (such as the pet site reviews, I can't believe people are still arguing over them when I haven't updated it in almost 3 years, deletedeletedelete) and replace it with new stuff that doesn't smell like decaying whale carcasses.
I'm going to ramble on about what I need to do in a hope that it will get done sometime this year or early next year. I probably need to make a new layout. Nobody loves my wonderful blue and purple square default layout that smells like 2003 (fuck you), and tiled backgrounds are so 2002. With my love for ugly things (Mac OS9), this is going to be tough. Chances are that this will be the last thing I do considering it's the easiest to screw up. Also, I have to worry if I want to redo all the xhtml or just figure out a way to un-dumb up the css -- it's done fairly flexable, actually.
After I get over the loss of my layout (never), I'm going to begin to update some of those virtual pet reviews. I've heard some good things about Marapets I want to check out, and I've heard some sites have basically died... I've got a lot I need to check up on. Writing is kind of a love/hate thing, though. I'm probably not going to push but for one review per two weeks at best, since I'm going to try to be ... more in-dept? Also I'm going to make sure I have a way to hide articles better. You (yes you) probably don't remember but I caught a lot of flak for forgetting to set some reviews hidden while working on them, thus you got to see my initial thoughts about the site and sometimes great bouts of idiocrity. I also need to get some kind of forum up, or something. I could code an ugly one myself, but I'm sure that one modified off of phpBB or something would probably be preferred... though I don't know if I could stand to ugly them up.
Another good thing is that my bandwidth is no longer looming dangerously close to the limit due to hotlinked pictures. This also reminds me I probably need to murder my image galleries and start fresh, since they too are old.
When will this start? ... I can't say. Hopefully "soon", "before this year ends" or failing that "January".

I'm going to attempt to clean up everything. I cleaned out two years worth of spam on most things... getting rid of some stupid stuff as well.
